So much for "just a virus" I took Elise back tot he walk-in clinic yesterday afternoon because she was just going downhill. By this time she had stopped drinking anything, her fever persisted, her rash was redder, hadn't eaten in two days. I spoke to my sister who had heard about Elise's symptoms and thought they sounded like when her son had Scarlet Fever so later that day, when she still wasn't improving, I took her to the clinic and the doctor concurred with my sister....
A few weeks ago, Daniella was very sick with a stomach bug. About every 48 hours she'd throw up a number of times. For the hours in between she seemed fine. Luckily (well not for me) I was the only other one who got the bug. Poor Erin started his Valentine's Day fishing me out of the bathtub at 6 in the morning because I had fainted. I wanted new bedding. We'd had ours for about 4 years so it was time and I was justified in spending about $200 on a new duvet cover and coordinating sheet set. I searched and found a lovely blue set at Home Outfitters. So then, as you might expect, we painted our bedroom walls. I chose a lovely shade of blue that matched the stripes in the sheets.
