I haven't been this excited about a trip in a loooooong time. Dave, Doug and I are going to the City of Sin for 4 days of drinking, gambling and general carousing!!!
I hope to win at least a little at the tables, perhaps pay for my flight or something. If not, no biggie as this weekend is about me and the boys having some good ol' fashioned, before-we-had-kids-and-a-mortgage fun!
When last we saw young DL, he was moaning about the suite's sound proofing. Since then, his plans for renovating have yet again been derailed.
He did manage to successfully install sound proofing and a new drop ceiling, with much, much, much thanks to his friend Dale, who showed him how to do it. And thankfully the priming was completed a full 12 hours before the tenant moved in!

A day in the life of my preschooler.
She starts her day at around 7 o'clock by climbing into bed with me and getting as close to me as possible and usually goes back to sleep.
At 8 o'clock or 8:30 she comes out to the living room and starts talking. She doesn't stop talking until she goes to sleep between 8 and 9. I love in the morning that little sleepy voice, hair all askew and her big eyes full of hope and adventure for a new day. I envy that look in her eyes and try to feel the same...
I have used my new "double" umbrella stroller twice now. One of the wheels came off while I was on a walk. sigh.
