In between our two days at Bumbershoot, we checked out Seattle. That included a stop at the Experience Music Project. What a super cool attraction! There is a whole floor of interactive exhibits. You can learn how to drum, play the guitar, sing and mix. There is a recording booth where you can make your own CD and a high-tech karaoke section where you play with some friends on a stage!

Iam actually almost done my whirlwind tour of the southwest. My trip down was quite the adventure. Problem: be in San Antonio Thursday morning. Solution: overnight (hah!) in Phoenix!! Normally this wouldn't be a problem as you can fly from Vancouver to Houston and then to San Antonio. But, those flight only leave Vancouver in the morning and I was on a course until Wednesday at 4:30PM. So, I took an Alaskan flight from Vancouver to Seattle to Phoenix. We have finally officially decided on our trip. We are going to Peru! Wahoo!!! We think we are going to switch tour operators though and go with Tucan instead of G.A.P. This was a logistical issue. We definately want to see three things when we are there, Arequipa, the Inca Trail up to Machu Picchu and the Amazon. With several of the tours, we could see all of that, but we wouldn't have enough days in the Amazone. The trips that spend a lot of time there (6 days), don't go to Arequipa....
