Vacation almost planned!! ⇒

We have finally officially decided on our trip. We are going to Peru! Wahoo!!! We think we are going to switch tour operators though and go with Tucan instead of G.A.P. This was a logistical issue. We definately want to see three things when we are there, Arequipa, the Inca Trail up to Machu Picchu and the Amazon. With several of the tours, we could see all of that, but we wouldn't have enough days in the Amazone. The trips that spend a lot of time there (6 days), don't go to Arequipa. And the tours that go to Arequipa only spend 2 days in the jungle. With Tucan, however, we found a tour that does Arequipa, and the hike in 16 days. Then we are planning a small 5 day trip into the Amazon. I want to go here, but it is quite expensive. We may just go the Amazon from Cusco as it is about half the price. Either way it will be incredible!

I can't wait!!!

Update: This is our trip into the Amazon. We are planning on leaving Sept. 14th!
