I have three wonderful sisters.

Karen is 3 years older than me and one of my very best friends. We've been making a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint over the last year or so. Here is what we are doing:

Erin bought a non-motorized lawn mower. It's slower but does a nice job on the lawn.

I bought a clothesline which besides saving energy and money, I love how our clothes smell when they've been dried outside. Hello clean sheet day!

People who know us well know that Elise has had a heck of a time learning to poop on the toilet. She never has accidents and has been going to get her own pull up to do her business in. A few weeks ago, I noticed that we had only 5 pull ups left on the shelf so I said to Elise "How about when we're all done these pull ups we don't buy any others." And she said "ok" and that was that.

So after 3 days in row of either sleeping through my morning alarm or waking up then falling asleep on the couch, I decided that this new sleep schedule was not working for me.

I kept missing my naps due to scheduling issues and it never felt comfortable. And all this work for an extra two hours? No thanks, though it was an interesting experience.

Getting an afternoon nap was nice, so I am going to try to grab one of those if I need one.

Back to normal sleep for me.
