Elimin8 ⇒

To celebrate Canada Day, we decided to play in a unique Ultimate tournament called Elimination Eights. It is a normal game of ultimate except for two interesting quirks. One Wedding down ⇒

And one to go. Monday, my friend Calvin finally married his girlfriend, Jorce (pronounced "joss"). They had a lovely ceremony at the Dr. Sun Yat- Sen Gardens in the afternoon (who schedules a meeting at 3PM on a work day?). Their reception was at the Cecil Green Park House. Great venue, great view, great food. It was nice to meet Calvin's family. You can sure see where he gets his deadpan sense of humour from....his mom & dad are hilarious!

Next wedding...Greg & Brenda...

Then it was off to the Malkin Bowl for a Great Big Sea concert with Scotty and our friend from San Jose, Jenny (a.k.a. MacPalm). I highly recommend both the venue and the band. I had never...

Shortly after, Margo, Doug, Erica, Byron, Jackie, Kath, Janet, Dave and Lisa arrived.

Our first, and as it turns out, only game was a Jello boat race. Turns out my inability to chug beer...
