I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It took me a while to get to it because I had to wait for Christine to finish it.

I liked this book as it answered many questions, such as, why does Snape hate Harry? Why does Harry have to live with the Dursley's? Why did Voldemart try to kill him? A lot of the characters are also filled out and we learn more about the Weasley's, Neville, Hagrid, Hermione and several others. I have to say that I was dissapointed with...

Mr. & Mrs. Greg Yorke!! We went to an awesome wedding on the weekend. My very long time (28 years) friend Greg and his then fiancé got married on Saturday at St. Mary's Church in Port Moody. I hadn't been to a church ceremony in quite a while, so it was a nice change. The father, Father Augustus, was hilarious…he had us laughing throughout the entire ceremony.

I wanted to get my pages to validate as proper XHTML. So I had to turn on the Auto-XHTML feature of pMachine. This caused my fancy drop caps to break. I have come up with a solution, but it is only on the entries for July. I am trying to come up with a better method. Anyhoo, both my HTML and CSS now validates correctly.

I have update my blogging software, pMachine to the latest version, 2.3. There are a few new features that I would like to implement including Trackback, Pingback and a couple others, but I will wait for a few days to make sure that this new setup is stable and bug free.
