Mr. & Mrs. Greg Yorke!! We went to an awesome wedding on the weekend. My very long time (28 years) friend Greg and his then fiancé got married on Saturday at St. Mary's Church in Port Moody. I hadn't been to a church ceremony in quite a while, so it was a nice change. The father, Father Augustus, was hilarious…he had us laughing throughout the entire ceremony.

During the photo break, we, along with most of Greg's friends and family, went to the Golden Spike. Greg's parents even showed up!! Said they got tired of photos! The reception was at some hall on Ioco Rd (I forget the name) overlooking the water. Very nice view! Then the party really got started! The speeches were hilarious! Our table went up and sung a song, which was well receiving. I went up and told some embarassing stories about him. Brenda's brothers sung a great version of New York, New York…very, very clever. Probably the highlight of the evening!

It is really nice to see two people soooo happy with one another. They are perfect for each other. And their families and friends get along. How can you not have fun with that situation? The DJ threw on some good tunes and we started to tear up the dance floor…I forgot how much fun it was to dance. Granted I am the supreme white-guy…but I sure have fun!

I think that (finally) does it for wedding for us. Most of our friends are married; in fact, we knew way more people having babies, than we did getting married. Guess that age is upon us, eh?
