The Silly Fest! ⇒

We had an absolutely fantabulous weekend. Saturday was of course the inaugural Silly Fest. While there were not very many people there, we did manage to have a great time! At 2PM I dropped Christine off at the beach and headed back to the apartment as I realized that I had forgotten the grape juice! Shortly after, Margo, Doug, Erica, Byron, Jackie, Kath, Janet, Dave and Lisa arrived.

Our first, and as it turns out, only game was a Jello boat race. Turns out my inability to chug beer transfers itself to Jello! Man, am I ever lousy at these races. Our team was almost 3 glasses behind until Dave, Janet and Lisa had their turns! And then we won!! Sheesh, can they ever pound that Jello!

After that it was just general goofin' around and eatin'. Doug & Erica brought their little Hibachi and we had some delicious marinated chicken, peppers and coleslaw. Somehow food just tastes better when it is BBQ'ed and on the beach. Must be the air.

A co-worker, Wendy, showed up near the end of fest and we ended up staying until about 8:30 just chattin'.
