What a difference a seat makes! I had to go to Montreal this week on short notice this week and had two very different flight experiences. As I didn't know when I was going to return, I booked Latitude fares, which give you maximum flexibility. This created an opportunity to apply my upgrade certificates so that I might fly 1st class.

On the way out, I was on standby for the upgrade and I managed to get the last seat available. Ahhhhh...what a treat. They take your coat, offer you...

Three Weeks Old ⇒

We had a check-up with our midwife yesterday. Leanne (the other midwife on our team) FINALLY got to meet Elise. Normally they alternate one week in the clinic, the next week on call and doing home visits and births but when Elise was born, Ren had just started a two week on-call stint so Leanne hadn't had a chance to visit her.

She is doing just awesome! We are so lucky to have such a healthy, easy baby. She weighs 9 pounds, 7 ounces - that's almost 2 pounds more than her birth weight!...
