Yesterday Elise discovered her hand. I sat and watched her discover it (and rediscover it) for about half an hour - she was fascinated and so was I.
2 months old ⇒
Elise is 2 months old. At her 6 week appointment (our last one with our midwife - boohoo) she weighed in at 11 pounds and is 23.5 inches long. She is growing so fast. She is getting better at holding her head up and last night she actually picked up a toy all by herself. Granted that may have been an accident but she did wave it around for a while. She smiles quite a lot now too and has discovered all kinds of new noises she can make so she doesn't have to cry all the time to...

I know enough martial arts to make myself some what dangerous and capable of at least dissuading someone from attacking me.
So how come it takes me 2 minutes to put two tiny little socks on two tiny little feet?

The last two nights Elise has slept through the night! Perhaps it was the turkey dinners I ate, but I guess I'll find out tonight.
She is 5 weeks old today and we are doing great. She is starting to smile socially more frequently now which is lovely. We are still not sure who she looks like.
