I never got around to writing an entry on my first mother's day but I was inspired to write the following (kind of poetic that I didn't have time to sit and write it on mother's day eh?)

When I was pregnant a colleague gave me some advice "when things are a little rough just say to yourself 'this too shall pass'" This advice has come in very handy through sleepless nights, biting, too many poopy diapers in a day, not enough poopy diapers in a day...but I have found that one...

Elise turned 9 months old yesterday. It has been an eventful month for the little scalawag. She got a couple more teeth, a bit more hair and (at last at last!) she is crawling around like a little speed demon. When she needs to go somewhere in a hurry she kind of pushes with one foot and the other leg basically gets dragged to catch up but when she is just going about her business, she uses both knees. The funniest part is she still likes to do the downward facing dog pose (any yogi's...

As you can see, our site has a new look. Not sure how much I like it, but it is a good start. I will be (hopefully) improving the design over time as I don't usually have a large block of time to work on it (darn fiend!!). All of the previous entries, comments, and memberships should all have been transferred, but if you have an issue, please let me know.

I have also switched from pMachine Pro to ExpressionEngine as pMachine Pro is no longer under development. As I am not that familiar...

Instead of cleaning the kitchen, I decided to do some photo gallery work. I rearranged the Elise's 2006 photos into months so they are a little more manageable. I also upload the May pictures we have so far.
