We have been blessed this week to have our England relatives on Mum's side visiting us for the last three weeks (Nan and Grandad, mum's twin sisters Babs and Allison and their husbands Roger and Derek). Tomorrow night, something will happen that hasn't happened in almost 10 months. That's right folks, Christine and I will have our first Elise-free night! About three weeks ago, Elise and I started learning sign language together. I got a DVD from the library (Baby Sign with Joseph Garcia) and away we went. Well today, Elise made her first sign. Not surprising, it was the sign for 'eat'! Shortly after she made the sign for 'more' when I had gone to the sink to get a cloth to wipe her face after breakfast.
