Here's why my to do list doesn't get any shorter:

• 5:00 AM - Elise crying, up to change diaper and feed her bottle
• 6:15 AM - up (very late), get dressed, make lunch, leave to catch bus
• 8:30 AM - start work
• 4:00 PM - leave work to catch bus
• 5:15 PM - get picked up by all my girls at the park-and-ride
• 5:30 PM - help with dinner/Elise/Daniella
• 6:00 PM - eat 6:30 PM - play with Elise
• 7:30 PM - put Elise to sleep
• 7:31 PM - start cleaning kitchen/house
• 8:30 PM - finish cleaning
• 8:31 PM -...

Our BBQ has been getting steadily worse over the past couple of years. At first I thought it was the bricks, so last year I got new ones. That didn't help and the problem got worse. Now there was only heat on the far sides. At this point I was resigned to buying a new BBQ.

As a last ditch effort I decided to take apart the BBQ to see if I could figure out what was broken. It does turn out I didn't have to take apart the WHOLE BBQ to get at the broken part, but how was I supposed to know...

I don't understand carbon credits. It seems to me that it acts as a get-out-of-jail-free fee for pollution. And they assume that the receiver of the money is actually helping the environment.

Can someone please explain them to me?

So, here we are a week into trying to keep two teeny tiny people properly watered and fed along with maintaining a household (not to mention the other two people in it!)
