Daniella, or, as I call her, my Ya Ya, is now 8 weeks old. I have neglected to post on our blog with her progress but it won't be fair to her to say when she' s older that I just didn't have the time so for now the dishes can wait.

First I will explain the nick name. Elise's word for "the other one" is A ya ya. When you put one shoe on her, she sticks her other foot in the air and says "a ya ya?" So, Elise is one girl and Daniella is "a ya ya".

Last weekend Elise made three firsts.

1. She went pee on the potty. I wish you could have seen the look on her face. I just bought the potty so she could get used to having it around and she really wanted to sit on it. I showed her the photo on the box of the little girl sitting on it without pants on so she wanted to sit on it like that too. So she was sitting there and I noticed she started peeing. Happy Mother's Day to all our female readers out there--even the ones who aren't mothers. It is 10:30 and as usual I have been up for about four hours so far. It was Erin's turn to sleep in...how did that happen?? Oh well, I got to have some great play time with Elise because Daniella was sleeping. I think she is starting to go through her 6 weeks growth spurt so she fed about every hour an a half yesterday and every two hours through the night. Gosh, no wonder Erin was so tired this...
