Christine and I have a new addiction, Flip That House and Property Ladder. I have watched about 4 episodes each over this past weekend...very addicting.

I have come to some conclusions about how to be successful at "the flip":

  • understand the area and what the house should sell for
  • permits, permits, permits
  • do it all yourself
  • re-use what you can
  • spend money where it counts
  • kitchens, bathrooms and the master-bedrooms sell houses
  • landscaping is important...and cheap
  • if you must...

Daniella is 5 and a half months old. Of course, I have been meaning to write this entry for 2 weeks now and, Daniella, I apologize that your blog entries are always just a little late!
