Updating The New Yellow House ⇒

As expected Christine and I began talking about what we renovations and changes we want to do first. In the beginning it was quite overwhelming as we want to replace/modify just about everything in every room. However, we have come up with what we think is a reasonable plan.

...And Here We Are ⇒

After only 3 trips in our car, 3 trips in the trucks and our moving truck, we are moved. There are boxes everywhere and we need a ton of things, but we have a new home and the girls are taking it OK.

As this house was built in 1983, the decor is some kinda dated, but we are very excited about making changes. Fortunately for us, our neighbour is a builder and does renos, so we will be enlisting his services for much of our work.

Once we get everything put away, we will post pictures.

Tomorrow the kids go the grandparents for two nights, which means we can really start to pack. Christine has done a great job packing so far, but we haven't been able to do the rest because we have to live here.

Tomorrow we start at one end of the house and pack our way to the other. We hope to get the keys in the afternoon so we can start to shuttle things over to save us some moving costs. Whatever has not been moved by 9:15am on Wednesday will be loaded by the movers. They have...

Recall the blog entry about the Jaguar Party?
