Welcome, friends, to 2009! It's going to be a great year--well--what year hasn't been great for us? We have loved ones expecting babies, we're in our new house with a world of improvements to make, I've got a new job lined up so we can afford some of the planned renos, the girls are awesome and getting easier all the time. As expected we have started to reno the house in ways that weren't planned. A few days ago some florescent tubes burnt out in the kitchen. We were just going to replace the tubes, but instead we decided to take the light right off. We think we want track lighting in there (as well as a recessed light over the sink), but we aren't sure, so we are just going to buy a super cheap light until we can figure it out.

Us DLs never do anything halfway...our motto is "Go Big or Go Home", and our planning for our first reno in our house was no different.
