Wow, over a week into the new year! So, a very belated "Happy New Years!" to everyone. Christine and I had a great time. We went to Erica's mom's place out in Abbotsford and drank and talked and played games and went in the hot tub and drank. Participants were Doug & Erica, Diane, Kath, Colleen and our local Newfie, Kenny. We played Cranium and Quarters (Quarters!!) and later (much later), Risk. Nothing like a 2 person game of Risk at 4 o'clock in the morning to welcome...

My Christmas has been excellent! I was able to get time off work so I don't have to go back until the 2nd. A good way to start! Christmas Eve was spent going to Sandbar with Doug & Erica for dinner and then out to see the lights. The Sandbar is an excellent restaurant; reasonable prices, great scenery and the food was very good.

Then we went out to look at all the houses lit up...the highlight would have to be Canuck Place and a house on The Crescent that had lit up Santa! They were...

To my good friend Greg Yorke. He is 27 years young!

A little background on me and Mr. Yorke; we have known each other for 27 years! There was a time when he was more like my brother than my brother!! His mother and my mother both worked at Kwantlen for many years together. He is currently working at Intrawest in the IT department and getting married in July!!
