Just ‘cuz everyone is asking ⇒

Christine and I are not (immediately) moving to the UK as previously planned. So you are all stuck with us. For all her great efforts Christine was unable to find employment. She had many interviews, but she was either over-qualified or lacking in local experience. And it turns out marketers get paid about $20K less than over here!

So we figured that if she found it difficult to get work in a career that she is experienced in, it would be really difficult for me to find a job in a career that I am not experienced in. Combined with the lower salaries we would not be able to save up and travel as much as we would like.

So we are going to stay here, save up money and then go on another big trip somewhere...maybe South America.

We are both looking for work so if you hear of anything let us know.
