How was Christmas for you? ⇒

My Christmas has been excellent! I was able to get time off work so I don't have to go back until the 2nd. A good way to start! Christmas Eve was spent going to Sandbar with Doug & Erica for dinner and then out to see the lights. The Sandbar is an excellent restaurant; reasonable prices, great scenery and the food was very good.

Then we went out to look at all the houses lit up...the highlight would have to be Canuck Place and a house on The Crescent that had lit up Santa! They were amazing!

For the first time since Christine and I have been together, we woke up Christmas morning in our own bed! A nice tradition to continue methinks. Then it was off to breakfast with the family....mmmmm...cinnamon buns. From there we went out to Abbotsford to spend the day with Christine's family. Much fun was had by all. It was nice to see her family again...they are a fun group of people!

Boxing Day was held at our place this year. The usual "gang" was there, my parents, Christine's parents, Ralph & Vicki, Val & Barney, Shaun and Jackie. We had some great food and played a hilarious game of charades.

The past few days have been spent cleaning up from the party and spending our Christmas money. We have picked up Busted Stuff, the Callings latest, Camino Palmero, Phish's latest, AToC and the Usual Suspects.
