Whew, a lot has happened since my last entry. Epic UK has a wonderful Friday tradition of going to the pub together around lunch time. Before going there, I had to pick up my rental car and try my hand at driving on the wrong side of the road. Grabbed my car and headed off to the pub. Hmmmm...quite the challenge. Yesterday was uneventful, went into our office to set up for the training and make sure all was well. Got to meet many of the people...the seem friendly enough. Lunch was almost a problem...I missed the French Wench, so I had to get a ride to Sainsburys to buy a sandwich and some fruit. They have quite a good "quick" lunch section, lots of sandwiches and ready-to-eat meals.

My flight went well; took off on time and landed early! I tried to get upgraded (using the hints from my good friend John Carley), but the plane was full, so I was stuck back in baggage class. British Airways is a nice airline to fly....free booze! I had two bottles (little wee ones) with my dinner. Thought they would help me sleep. They did. Today I leave on a business trip to Newbury, England. Newbury is a small, little nothing town about an hour west of London, just south of Oxford, and the home of Epic Data's UK office. I am going there to deliver some 3 training courses. The first one is to the sales/sales support staff and is focussed on eXpresso benefits and capabilities.
