The trip continues ⇒
Yesterday was uneventful, went into our office to set up for the training and make sure all was well. Got to meet many of the people...the seem friendly enough. Lunch was almost a problem...I missed the French Wench, so I had to get a ride to Sainsburys to buy a sandwich and some fruit. They have quite a good "quick" lunch section, lots of sandwiches and ready-to-eat meals.
After work I went to go see what events were happening in the Spring Festival. I decided on the Mark Latimer Jazz Trio playing tomorrow night at the Corn Exchange. Sounds like a good show. For dinner I had the Italian bread and the Char Grilled Rib-Eye Steak at the Slug & Lettuce. Don't you just love English names! The food wasn't bad either. I washed it all down with a Guinness.
Tonight I am off for some beers with some of the guys at the Hatched House. Apparently Celtic is playing FC Porto and we must watch it!! I guess I should cheer for Celtic as they are a Scottish team, although Thomas doesn't like them so that might not be a good idea! Should be fun.
More later.
