Today I went and did what everyone should do on a regular basis...give blood. If you've never done it before, you should start now. The whole process only takes about an hour and is mostly painless (well, except for taking the band-aids off!!). It costs nothing and can mean so much to someone else. Imagine if you were going in for some serious work and there was not enough of your blood type! That would really suck, wouldn't it?

Italian Job, the review ⇒

The other day we were looking to get out, but not looking to think too much (what a shocker I know) so we decided to take in the Italian Job. A coworker of mine, Robert, recently so the orginal version of this movie and thought it was lousy! So this movie couldn't be worse, right?

Pleasant weekend ⇒

What a great weekend I just had. Friday night we did nothing. I had a long, tiring day at work and didn't feel like doing anything. Saturday, our band, 3rd Stage, played a gig at Surrey Place Mall. It was our first gig in a couple of years, so it was nice to get out play in front of people. We played alright, not great, but not bad. My reed was not co-operating at all as it kept drying out and some notes didn't come out properly, but I played alright.

Stag time! ⇒

I forgot to mention that I went to a stag on Saturday. My good friend (well, hopefully still friend!!) Calvin is getting married on the 30th, so of course a stag was neccessary. We started off at the track. I hadn't been there in probably 10 years so I was pretty excited about going back. Daryll booked us a couple of boxes so that we would stay dry, assuming it rained (which it didn't).

We got there to see the end of the first race, and it took us a couple of races to figure how to read...
