Stag time! ⇒

I forgot to mention that I went to a stag on Saturday. My good friend (well, hopefully still friend!!) Calvin is getting married on the 30th, so of course a stag was neccessary. We started off at the track. I hadn't been there in probably 10 years so I was pretty excited about going back. Daryll booked us a couple of boxes so that we would stay dry, assuming it rained (which it didn't).

We got there to see the end of the first race, and it took us a couple of races to figure how to read the program and the racing board, but we definately got into it! I ended up betting on the 4 horse most of the day. The one time I didn't, it was a 23-1 shot to win...and it did! D'oh! Ended up betting on 9 races and unbelievably, I ended up about even! Word of warning...the pizza is NOT worth $3.50!!

At about 6, we went to Daryll's for a rooftop BBQ. Mmmmm...burgers and beer...does it get any better? Then it was off to the Penthouse for some nakedity...mmm beer and nakedity... Turns out that the Penthouse has been renovated. Much less sleazy than it was before.

We left there about 1AM and tried to get Calvin to do something he would regret. Not much luck there, although we did manage to get random strangers to write on his back and chest. Hopefully he can get the marker off before his wedding night!
