Christine's parents came out for a wee visit yesterday. We puttered around town and then intended to go out for Greek food at Kalamatas on Broadway. Turns out, however, that they are on staff holidays until the 16th and the entire restaurant was closed! Who'd a thunk?

So instead of a reasonably calm, classy dinner, we hoofed it on over to Memphis Blues, a Southern BBQ joint at Granville (not Oak, like I had thought) and Broadway. Memphis Blues has won the best BBQ house 3 years running...

Have you ever suddenly realized that your life couldn't actually get much better? Today I came to that conclusion!!

My week at work was crazy busy, but fun. I enjoy what I do right now. I get to go to Florida in a week and go golfing. I may get to go to Coventry, England in a month. We (Epic) have an excellent chance to win a large contract, of which I was key part. I am going to get a smokin' good deal on an awesome TV. I am enjoying ulti more than I ever have. I read another book from my list. This time it was Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I have to say, I really didn't get it. I was about this young kind, Holden Caufield, and how messed up he was. He couldn't really have a normal relationship with anyone.

I don't quite understand why it was on "The List". Can any of you explain it to me?
