Well, it seemed like forever and it was actually only 10 days but Elise is back to normal after her run-in with Scarlet Fever. For a while there we thought we might never get our happy, compliant child back. She was rude and extremely unpleasant to be around. Not that we blame her. Her entire body looked like it was sunburnt. Her lips were dry and cracked, especially in the corners. And every six hours was forced to take hideously bad tasting medicine. So that was fine but we wondered if she would ever be back to normal. She is back with all her good manners we've worked so hard to make habit and her cheerful talkativeness. Welcome back, my sweet pea! Mama missed you!
