Jet lag sucks! ⇒

Well, I am finally back. Actually I got in Friday night but I wasn't in a state to do much. Like my flight over, I was unable to get upgraded to business class due to the plane being full. I was, however, able to get the exit row seat, which meant there was no one in front of me! Ahhhh....the leg room!

Did my last minute shopping...bought a few books for Christine and some scotch for me and John. Finally I get to restock my scotch larder!

So there I was standing in line to board the plane when I hear, "Erin?"! I look up and see Dave M's younger brother Brennan coming towards me! Brennan has been in Nice, France for a several years going to school (ya, I know, lucky, lucky boy!) and he was on his way home. It was nice to catch up with him.

Flight was fine. Long, but fine. Watched Chicago and Daredevil, reviews to follow. Arrived early, breezed through immigration & customs ([aside]Why are immigration ladies so unpleasant??? Sheesh, they could at least be friendly![/aside]) and my luggage was waiting for me one the carousel. Got home, ate something and then went to sleep.

Today I feel almost normal. Went to sleep last night at about 9PM, woke up a 3AM, but went back to sleep until 7:30AM. Not too bad.

Great to be back!
