Almost home! ⇒

My last two days have been quite quiet. Wednesday was more training and then dinner with my French collegue Cedric, who arrived for the last two days of training. We braved a Chinese restaurant, the Laurel, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was quite good and the bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon was very good! Thursday I completed the training and then saw Christine's relatives for dinner. Derek & Allison live in Swindon and Babs & Roger live in Basingstoke. It turns out that Newbury is right between those two towns so it was quite convenient for everyone to meet in Newbury. It is always fun meeting them as they all have a great sense of humour and we had many laughs.

I managed to get my flight changed to today so I will be leaving at 5PM. Yahoo!!! Can't wait to get home! All in all it has been an almost enjoyable trip; I got to see several people I hadn't seen in years and meet all the Epic UK folks, which was nice. The only thing missing was the wee wif!

Next stop, home sweet home!
