So I buy a wireless card the other day from NCIX. The hotel I am staying at in San Fran has wireless internet in all the rooms so I am anxious to get it installed. I bring it home and plug it in so that I am ready when I get to the hotel. Turns out that someone in my building has a 802.11B Access point on and unsecured! My card picks it up and I am posting this wirelessly!!

A couple of technology issuea: a hard drive error and a broken phone. Last weekend, on my way back here from San Jose, I broke the antennae on my phone. Turns out that even though I never used tha antennae, it is needed! My reception for the last week has been terrible! I was analog in my own apartment! Yuck! This problem has been solved, however. The nice folks at Futuretel were able to fix my phone for the low, low price of $30 plus GST. Now my phone is back to its usual...
