A little bit of catch up is needed, so sorry that this is old news. On Labour Day weekend Christine & I went down to Seattle to experience [Bumbershoot][281]. What is Bumbershoot? It is a four day arts and music festival that takes place at Seattle Center, and it is wonderful! Sunday afternoon we motored out to Abbotsford to join the rest of the Dencer's in celebrating some birthdays. As there are so many birthdays in short time span, they combine them into one big celebration! It was great to see the whole family in-laws again. Had some good eats, good talk and good times.

The bad? The Canucks lost to Minnisota in game 7 of the Western Conference Semi-finals. But hey, at least we made it to the 2nd round, eh? The best team did win and it wasn't us. We played lousy...lousy goaltending lousy defence, too many penalties, not enough scoring...bah. Oh well, onto golf and ulti season! I also now have a lot of respect for the Minnisota Wild. They have a chance to make it to the Stanley Cup finals! And I am now switching my allegiance to the Ottawa Senators! Go...
Finally, the moment you have been waiting for....my review of the GBS show I saw in San Francisco. This review would be longer, but I was just about done then my #$%!@# browser crashed!! Anyway...to the review. The show was at Slim's in San Francisco. It is in a slighly run-down, seedy area of town, so it provided some nice atmosphere. For an example, the store across the street had a deli, beer, wine, hard liquor, snacks, bread, a pool table and some arcade games! Nice!
