Trying to get Daniella to try toilet training and she is just not interested. So, I am not going to push it but she wants a Plum Pudding figurine so she has been willing to at least sit on the potty in exchange for a sticker. She needs 10 stickers.

I am enjoying the Christmas season and I hope you are too! Elise and Daniella are at the prime age for Christmas - they don't ask for much, they are all about Santa and we are enjoying the activities on the Advent Calendar I made. Daniella may be catching on though as every time she asks me for something at the store and I say "not today" she says "maybe for Christmas I can buy it" or :Maybe Santa will bring one for me"

One of Daniella's nicknames is Nella. There is a vote to name the new baby beluga at the aquarium and one of the choices is Nala: Abbreviation for "Nalautsaagaq" meaning 'surprise gift'.

Daniella's middle name is Halle which we chose because in the baby name book we had, it means 'Unexpected gift'

Elise's preschool had a field trip to the local grocery store today. We were exploring the produce section and the dietician who was conducting our tour was talking about where different fruits and veggies are grown. She asked 'where do watermelons grow?' and Elise said frankly, 'Down by the bay.' I was so proud!!
