Making my data movable ⇒

Now that I have my blog posts stored in Markdown, I need to automate backup of those posts so that I always have a current copy. I am hoping to find an existing plugin/service that does this but so far I haven't found anything perfect. IFTTT almost does it but it won't find my WP installation properly. There are also several WP backup plugins that back up to Dropbox but that won't work either. So I either have to write my own WP plugin (which I don't want to do) or find a plugin that...

Been thinking a lot more about the blogging side of it and I'm not sure going to Scriptogr.am is the right decision. Pros: * posts are stored in Markdown * can write them with any text editor * stored in Dropbox Cons: * only supports a single author so Christine and I (and then Elise and Daniella) can't really have a family blog * have to do HTML/CSS work unless you like their current themes The reason for my rethink is my end goal. I will talk about Twitter, Facebook and email later, but I am rethinking my previous blog post.

I got my existing blog posts exported (thanks to Brett Terpstra) and I set up Scriptogram successfully. My intended flow was to write all the posts in a text editor in Markdown and then have Scriptogram post those.
