So, after all my research and bargaining and whining, I finally bought it! All 46 inches of it!! I will take posession of my new Samsung HLP466s DLP flat screen, rear projection TV on Tuesday!

I also bought the Samsung HD841 upscaling DVD player. There was another DVD player that was ranked higher, but the Samsung is available right now. I may still try to find the other DVD player and see what it is like.

Talk about a family secret!! On Friday, I found out that I am Jewish! Turns out that my maternal grandmother's family changed their name from Fleissig to Fleming in the '30s. And they didn't tell anyone!!

My mom found out when she was going through some old papers and she found my grandmother's birth certificate that showed her original maiden name and her religion. And, as you all know, Jewishness is passed down through the mother. So, my mother is Jewish and therefore, so am I!!

Seeing as I just bought Christine a cute [iPod][398], I figured I should finish up ripping all of our CDs. When you have a lot of music, it sure takes a long time!!

I think the next step is eliminating all the CDs and our CD player. I am looking into two options, either the AirPort Express or the Squeezebox.
