Privacy and the NSA ⇒

August 2nd, 2013 by

All this NSA snooping news has really made me think hard about where my data is located and who has access to it. Major data stores, for me: * Dropbox (most of my personal documents) * Evernote * Email (Fastmail, whose main server is in the NY) * iCloud For Dropbox, I'm either going to encrypt it (Knox or Espionage) or get a File Transporter. Don't know what to do with my Evernote data...ideas? I'm thinking about moving my email to a non-US host, maybe Hover? Their servers are in Canada. I don't believe there's much I can do about iCloud except not to store any crucial documents on it. What are you all doing about it?
