Now THAT’S a deck! ⇒

When we moved in, we knew the deck needed replacing. Then we discovered our neighbour was a builder and he offered to do it for us. Yah us!

The thing you have to understand about Rick, is that he is a cowboy. And he loves making decks. And he likes to Build Things Right™.

The original deck was 7 by 14 with rickety, rotten, slippery stairs. The new deck is 10 feet by 22, with a covered playhouse AND a slide (and a swing if Rick can figure out how to do it). All new 60 mil vinyl, treated 6x6 posts (instead of the rotting non-treated 4x4), treated wood railing instead of metal. Booya!
