The Best Summer Day Ever ⇒

The girls and I had the best summer day ever today. Mom Dalzell came to pick us up at 8:30 and we drove to Lynden for the Fair. We saw bunnies, chickens, cows, a 12 hour old calf, ponies, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, llamas and alpacas. Elise and grandma rode on a merry go round which upset Daniella who laughed when she saw them approaching and cried as they went away-quite cute. They also rode on a car ride. We had a nice picnic lunch then went home because it was super hot and the girls we done. They fell asleep in the car about 10 minutes down the road. At least Elise lasted longer than last year when she fell asleep on Grandpa's head while he was giving her a piggy back ride back to the car!

At home, we played in the pool in the back yard for a while, then vegged on the couch watching tv and eating freezies. After dinner we all biked to the nearby water park and played for an hour. Elise the Adventurer finally got up the courage to run through an overhead sprinkler--amazing!

Needless to say, the girls went down pretty easy tonight!
