3 o’clock and all’s well.. ⇒
For about five weeks, Elise has consistently been going 5-6 hours between feeds for her first block of sleep at night. If this happens between 12 and 5, it is considered sleeping through the night. For Elise, this has been from 9 until 3.
So...the other night she went for 9 hours between feeds and yet I was still up at 3 o'clock because she starting sleeping at 7:30 after her 6:30 dinner. Oy vey!
Since then, I got some advice from the Baby Whisperer and we are now trying dream feedings to see if she will sleep through the 3 o'clock interruptor. Dream feedings are when you feed the baby as the last thing you do before you go to bed. You feed the baby with minimal interaction, minimal lighting, then put the baby back to bed. I will keep you posted. Last night she had an 11 o'clock feed (but she'd been up all evening so it doesn't count as a dream feed) and she slept til 5.
Here's hoping...
