Relaxing around Grenoble ⇒

As we are still have a few sleeping issues (Elise waking up every few hours and Erin coughing continuousy), we decided to just laze around for a few days. So far we have gone for walks around a monastary and visited downtown Grenoble. Elise loves being out and about and especially likes the backpack. In fact she didn't see much of the monastary as she feel asleep almost as soon as we put her in it!!

Well, we made it! 'Twas a lot better travelling than I had imagined. Thankfully, we had access to the Air Canada lounge, which allowed us to relax with some drinks and some free food before the chaos began.

On the first plane trip (Vancouver to Frankfurt), Elise was awesome. We managed to get a bulk-head seat so we also had a sky crib for her to sleep in, which was great for us. She actually slept for about 4.5 hours all told we think. But when she was awake, she was pretty good and...

Two Feet Tall ⇒

And a whole lotta luggage!!! How can something that small require so much stuff?? Sheesh. We are mostly packed now and we should only require 6 or 7 sherpas to get us to the airport. Hopefully the rioting and general strikes don't affect our landing in Lyon on Friday; I don't think they will, but it will add a little extra excitement into the trip.

We leave on Thursday and Christine and I both are coming down with colds. Nice. I bet Elise has it when we are on the plane. Double nice. Plus she has a tooth almost in. So she will be tired, teething and sick on the plane! Woo hoo.
