Two Feet Tall ⇒

And a whole lotta luggage!!! How can something that small require so much stuff?? Sheesh. We are mostly packed now and we should only require 6 or 7 sherpas to get us to the airport. Hopefully the rioting and general strikes don't affect our landing in Lyon on Friday; I don't think they will, but it will add a little extra excitement into the trip.

Our itinerary goes something like this: week 1, day trips in and around Grenoble as we get our bearings and get over the jet lag. Week 2 is Corsica with Nige & Mel. Week 3 is Provence with Sherry. Week 4 is most likely meandering to Paris for a few days and then either making our way back down to Lyon or over to Frankfurt. Not sure how that week will go...we are just going to wing it!

I can't tell you how excited I am for this trip. Four weeks of no work, no computers and all Elise, all the time. Hiking through the French countryside, eating many cheeses and drinking much wine will be all that I will be concerned about. I hope to come home fat and drunk.

We will attempt to update the blog as we go, but Elise doesn't like sitting still that much so who knows.
