Total Convenience ⇒

It is really scary how easy it is to buy music from the iTunes Music Store. I heard that Apple was offering $1 off any album that contains a grammy winning song, so I checked out the Grammy winners (easy to find button in the store) and discovered two albums that I wanted.

Two clicks later and they are in my library and I am out $18. Sheesh...this could be dangerous.

Oh ya, the music I downloaded was Maroon5's latest and Green Day's American Idiot. Both are very catchy.

That's it, I can't keep this a secret any more. Just over eleven weeks ago, on Christmas morning, Christine and I found out that we were pregnant. That's right, everyone's worst nightmare is coming true....I am procreating!! The world watch out!!

The wee one is due on September 2, the day before our 5th anniversary! Of course we do have a baby blog that we have been writing in. As of now, all postings will appear on both the main page and the Baby D blog so feel free to comment...

Feeling richer and smarter ⇒

Am I the only one who feels smarter when I enter a library? Whenever I go in the central library I feel like I am learning by osmosis.

Why was I there? Well, I was trying to make $500. When I bought my TV in October, AVU let me know about their AdCheque program. This program is supposed to send you a cheque if the item you bought is advertised for less than you paid, within 30 days of purchase. Approximately 25 days after I bought the TV, I found it listed for ~$500 less at FutureShop....

Thump, thump, thump, thump ⇒

Today was a momenteous day...heard the baby's heartbeat!! We went in for Christine's first real meeting with our mid-wife, Leanne. She just wanted to get caught up on Christine's status. But seeing as Chrissann and Colleen both heard their child's heartbeat, we had to see if we could hear ours.

Leanne greased up Christine and used a blue stick thing on her growing belly. Turns out that deep down underneath is a little bitty heart beating at 156 beats a minutes!! Crazy. That certainly...
