'Tis official, we are now home owners! Our deal closed on the 29th and we celebrated Canada Day by taking possession our wee house. Both sets of parents came out to see the place and to plan out the next couple of weeks. Both dads generously offered to paint the place and we needed to figure out who was doing what when.

We are finally making some headway in figuring out what we are going to do in our house. Today we bought a stove, a dishwasher (couldn't find it on Maytag; it must be discontinued or something, and a freezer. We bought these from Coast Wholesale Appliances and would highly recommend them. For an additional $30, they will even take away our old appliances.

Went to see Batman Begins last night. Quite the difference between the last few Batmans as this one was actually good! It tells the story of how Bruce Wayne became Batman and where he got all those extremely cool toys. To add to the story this movie had only "cool" actors in it, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Liam Neeson as a wicked cool mentor. Katie Holmes (or is it Cruise) was basically the throw away female role...the only thing she brought to the role was...
