Life with two toddlers: definitions ⇒

June 22nd, 2008 by

  • Patience is letting a toddler do it byself even if you are running a little late
  • Sharing is two adults on one side of a queen-sized bed; a toddler on the other
  • Helping is a toddler playing with the dishes in the bottom rack while you put away the top rack
  • Tidying is getting all the toys off the floor so you can vacuum
  • Clean is "good enough"
  • Sleeping in is 7:30 a.m.
  • Good TV is a toddler agreeing to watch a different cartoon
  • A day off is the grandparents taking two toddlers for the day and you spending that day finally cleaning your floors
  • Time for yourself is getting up a little early to enjoy a cup of tea and write a blog post

Happiness is accepting all of the above
