As is my very fascinating tradition, let's review the past year and make some predictions.

First, how well I did last year with my predications? I got 3 out of 5 right, although those were the ones that would just happen, regardless of what we did; I did start at ACL, Christine did finish at TBC and Daniella did happen. The tiling didn't happen due to financial issues and we went to Kelowna instead of T.O. for our vacation.

So, what were the highlights of this year?

  • Early in the year I had a great visit to Portland to see a friend from university
  • Something happened in April...what was it...oh right, Daniella arrived!
  • Our family vacation to Kelowna with the Perkinses
  • My favourite band (Dave Matthews Band) at my favourite venue (The Gorge) with Doug

And my bold predictions for this year?

  • Visiting San Jose to see the Daleys and the MacLachlans
  • Tiling the kitchen, dining room, office
  • new carpet throughout the house
  • trip to T.O. in the summer to see my family
  • Daniella starts walking and talking
  • The Canucks won't win the Stanley Cup (gotta put a sure thing in!!)
