Making Our Space Better ⇒

Even though we know we can't stay in our place for long (one too few bedrooms), we continue to improve our living conditions:

• Sod Off! - we have removed about a third of our back garden and will be putting sod in so that the girls can have a more play space. Once we remove a stubborn bush, we will lay the sod and make it look all purdy.
• Mold Be Gone - We had a mold "issue" in our en suite shower, so a month ago we yanked down all the old tile and drywall. Today my dad and I got half of the tiling done and I hope to get the last half done next weekend.
• Quiet Space - Christine would like to have some space where she can go to escape the chaos that is our life. Instead of building a little asylum for Christine we decided to build a new room out of half of our garage. We (Christine) has started to sort through the garage to figure out what we need to keep, what we need to store elsewhere and what we need to sell/give away. Then we (anyone know how to build a wall?) will put a wall, lay some carpet and perform some beautification so that it no longer looks like a garage.

I still don't like doing the renos/improvements, but I sure do love the result!
