Twenty Four? ⇒

Christine and I have heard many people say that 24 is a great show that is worth watching. So a few weeks ago I downloaded the first season (shame on me!!) so we can see if we like it.

We are 6 hours (episodes) in and I am definitely NOT hooked on it. I find that it asks me to ignore reality too much. It takes place in the current year with no special plot mechanisms (magic, fantasy, etc) so it should be at least a little believable. But in each episode something is done that is so out of normal (finding all passwords attached to a phone number, cell phones that work all the time, even in the basement, cell phone batteries that never die, etc) that I can't get over it.

I don't think we will be watching very many other episodes.
