Prettiest Girl In The World ⇒

I would like to introduce the newest member of the DL household, Elise Rayne Dalzell. She was born at 8:44am on Tuesday, September the 6th at St. Paul's Hospital. She is 21" long and weighs 7lbs 9ozs. The labour went extremely well and Christine came through like a pro! Fortunately, we were able to come home yesterday and not have to spend the night, due to the fact that we have a midwife.

We came home at about 8pm last night and have successfully made it through our first night as parents! Elise has been extremely easy so far (I know, I know, it won't last) and picked up the feeding right away. She slept pretty well last night, only waking to feed once or twice (I am told...I slept through it). When she is awake she is very alert and seems really interested in her surroundings.
