Life On The Road ⇒
The complete lack of anything interesting on this blog (if indeed you can call any of the past entries interesting) is due to a combination of laziness and busyness. Lazyness, cuz I normally go, "this would be interesting...I should put it in the blog" and then I just stay sitting on the couch. Busyness, cuz I have been on the road since basically the 11th of May.
I first grabbed a car, drove down to Sea-Tac for a 11am flight that didn't take off until 2pm. I arrived in Chicago and Jeremy and I spent 4 hours driving to Peoria. With that and dinner I didn't get into my bed until about 1am CST. Our meeting (note the singular) went well and we drove back to Chicago that night. I fluked into a 10am standby flight the next morning and made it home by about 3:30pm.
Next was a week long trip out to Salt Lake City to put in a system at Kennecott Utah Copper. Things went pretty good there and Steve and I managed to squeeze in a trip to Kennecott's Visitor Center, which is pretty cool. The mine they have there is the largest open pit mine in world and quite a sight to see.
I arrived home Friday night, spent the next day recovering, and then flew down to Dallas on Sunday, which is where I still am. Our meeting today went well and I hope to be home by late tomorrow night. Then I shouldn't have to travel for at least a week and a half, before I head back down to Kennecott.
And then I have to put systems in in Wisconsin, but hopefully I can do both of them in a week.
Whew....tired now, going to relax at the bar.
