Time To Be An Adult! ⇒

As you are all aware, Christine & I have been trying to decide if we want to buy a place and if so, where. As I work in Richmond, moving to the east isn't reasonable for the commute I would have. It turns out that Tsawwassen is too expesive for us, so it was off to South Surrey for us. We looked at a bunch of places that were either too much, too small or in the wrong location. We must have looked at almost 20 places over the last 4 months.

Then two weeks ago Christine and our realtor Keith went out to look at 4 places in south Surrey. 3 of them were no good, but the 4th one was juuuuuust right.

So on Friday, we bought it! That's right...you favourite Vancouverites are becoming suburbanites! I am sure this will be quite a change for us but we are really looking forward to creating our own place.

Wanna see the pics? Our place was built in 1985 and it really looks like it, eh? The good news is that it is in awesome shape...absolutely nothing is wrong with it. All it needs is some new appliances, some paint, a couple of reno'ed bathrooms and some new flooring and it will look as good as new.
