The New Digs ⇒

It is official. We have finally moved from our beloved Kitsilano appartment. Yes, that's right, we are no longer in Kits! Sob!

In the beginning of March, we were informed that all the apartments were going to be sold. There was a chance that an investor would buy our apartment and therefore we wouldn't have to move at all; however, we thought we would go take a look and see what else was out there as we have been thinking about lowering our rent a little. A few days into our search we found a great apartment at Oak & 16th and in Dalzell-esque fashion (i.e. quickly) we took it!

As I was travelling, Christine (bless her heart) did most of the packing. The movers took 4 hours to move the big stuff (we took the little stuff) to our new place. And we are just now almost completely unpacked. We still have a few missing lights and hooks, but we are progressing nicely.

Things we don't like about the new place: * smaller washer/dryer * further from the beach * bike ride is harder for Christine * further to our doctor, hairdresser and martial arts

Things we love about the new place: * bigger * brighter * not one, but two patios * private entrance * better layout * parking spot * closer to work for me * Max's Deli * very central
